How do I use Live Chat on Lyme Connect?
To connect with Live Chat, simply click on the "Join Chat" button on the bottom tool bar. You can then choose a network to connect with. You can connect via several netowrks and change between them, but you can only chat using one. Right now, you are able to connect with Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, and Yahoo on Lyme Connect.

When you connect through one of those networks, you are immediatley placed in the public chat room. To invite a user to a private chat, click on the name of another user in the right panel and choose one of the two options. An invitation will be sent to this user and once they accept, the private chat session will start.

You can control your availability settings in two ways:

(1) At the top of the chat panel, next to the green light icon, chose to be either 'available' or 'invisible'
(2) On the toolbar itself, you will notive the same green light icon. Choosing an 'invisible' status will make you invisible to other users.

That is pretty much all you need to know to start chatting on Lyme Connect. Login today and start having some great conversations with people that understand.
Can I nominate someone to be in the Lymelight?
We are constantly trying to highlight members of the Lyme Network as well as others that are making major strides in the Lyme community. To nominate someone to be in the Lymelight, simply click on the nominate link at the bottom of the person that is currently being highlighted in the lymelight or you can click on the Contact Us tab and put in the subject line "Lymelight Nomination" and why you believe the person deserves to be mentioned to the entire Lyme Network community.
How do I deactivate my Lyme Connect account?
Simply go to your account settings and click on the membership link. From here you can deactivate your membership.
I want something on Lyme Connect that would make my fight with Lyme Disease more manageable. How do I let you know?
